One-to-one, video* (Zoom or Skype), and outdoor sessions.
*If you think online counselling may work for you, we will arrange an initial free consultation of 30 min to assess your needs and expectations, and for us to get to know each other. I have completed 'How to do counselling online', a course developed by the Open University and the BACP.
My practice is focused on anxiety, stress, depression, anger, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loneliness & isolation, work-place conflicts, alcohol misuse, and existential angst - areas that are so often interlinked.
I offer a comfortable, safe and non-judgemental environment in offices in Perth and Dundee. These are places for you to be heard, where you can be yourself.
I offer a 'Walk and Talk' option, where our sessions take place outdoors.
We would normally meet once a week for 50 minutes. My fee is £50 per session, which can be paid by bank transfer, PayPal or cash (receipt provided).
Our first session involves getting to know you, your goals and what you want from counselling. It is also the opportunity to find out whether I am the right counsellor for you. If we decide to continue working together, we will carry on at your own pace, explore whatever you want to bring, and move towards your goals. It is up to you to decide how long you want to see me.
The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.
